Our faculty will assess your child and then discuss with parents and make recommendations. Our goal is to place each student in the grade which is most appropriate to benefit the student academically and socially. Typically, students are placed one level below the grade they attend in the American school. The reasoning behind this is to allow students to develop a solid foundation in their native language prior to introducing a second language.
That is fine! Students do not need to know any Greek in order to enroll.
Of course you can. Our school is open to non-Greeks or to philhellenes.
Yes, lessons can be recorded. Recordings are sent to students that miss their semi-private or group lesson in order for them to keep up with the group progress.
If you have to cancel or reschedule your private lesson please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. In the case you cancel in less than 24 hours prior to the lesson, we will do our best to reschedule but if this is not possible then you will be charged for the lesson.
Group lessons cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. However, if you cannot manage to attend the class, you will receive a link of the recorded lesson, so you will not miss anything from the class progress.
Semi-private lessons can only be cancelled if all students within the group agree to cancel. A cancellation needs to be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. If one of the students of the semi-private class cannot attend a lesson then he/she will receive a recording of the missed lesson.
To attend our lessons you need a high speed internet connection. However, in case our connection fails we will arrange another day to complete the missing lesson. For instance, if we have a 55 min lesson and the connection fails 10 minutes before the end of the lesson, we will add 10 minutes in your next lesson. Please note that we are not responsible in the case your connection fails.
